How do you tell a strong PM story in senior interviews?

PPriya M.· 5d ago
I keep getting feedback that my examples are 'too tactical'. How do you frame impact and judgment at the director level without sounding vague? Looking for concrete structures that worked for you.

Lead with the decision, not the process. State the bet you made, why it was risky, and what changed because of it. Metrics come second.

Great question. Try the 'Situation → Judgment → Outcome' frame. Interviewers hire for judgment under ambiguity, so spend most words there.
